Anyone else do this?

I, being a constantly thinking and brilliant writer (not to mention humble) am always coming up with my own little stories for things. For example, My usual avatar is a big blond viking with an axe, but annually he dons the special suit of armor he is wearing now in preparation for the war that breaks out across the forums during March Mayhem. Do any of my fellow escapists have little stories like that to share?

I gave my waffles a backstory once, but it just made me sad when I ate them. I get too attached to things with names, you see. Like when I found a pet greenfly and my friend crippled it, so I had to euthanise it and wouldn't talk to him for the rest of the day. The bastard.

I have a curious habit of attaching thoughts and mannerisms to player characters in RPGs that show no indication of having them.

For instance, Mass Effect. I like to pretend my Shepard is still all emo over Ashley's death, so he's not romancing anyone because he doesn't have time between saving the galaxy and moping like a teenager.

That's about it, though. I think.

When I was little I used to pretend my M&M's were in a arena tournament, although I seen a picture with a guy who did the same thing, then he added some bits on and made it funny, so I'm assuming there are more people who have done the same thing

I sword-fight with cutlery, then my mind spends the day imagining someone questing for a golden spoon, and as with all my imagining it always links to Halo somehow, even if its like...the middle ages! xD
