The irony is that this is, for all intents and purposes, a Halo thread.
A new game is out, and people are talking about it. There were tons of MW2 threads, there were tons of Fallout 3 threads, and there are tons of Reach threads. People like talking about new, big-name games.
Get over it.

You mean people are actually wishing to discuss an incredibly popular game that just came out? Good God, hide the children!

Seriously, if you don't like the threads, don't click on them. This isn't exactly a massive dilemma you have.

Seriously this. People like the game. Don't complain when people ON A GAMING FORUM WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT.

I am to a degree, but its always the same with a new fad. I mean, theres still MW2 threads appearing, they should burn out in a few weeks.

But continung the theme of the thread, I'd also like to throw in "zombies" and "apocalypse" into the list of threads I'm a bit fed up of.

No. I don't click on them because of my magical self control powers.

That said, I'll check in on them sometimes, if I'm bored and there aren't any other good threads.

I enjoy them.
So what if there is heaps?

Because remember, this is a gaming forum, so you would expect the big shot and popular games to get more threads, especially after their release when people are playing them fresh.

When a list of threads appear, there generally 20 or so per page to choose from. If you don't like it, don't select them.

Yeah, I couldn't give a shit about Halo, but I still find it hilarious that by complaining about Halo threads, you totally just made a Halo thread.
