When I say "Hate" I don't mean you strongly dislike I mean HATE.what sucks about fire-ants is that you'll notice one and crush it. then you'll turn around and there will be 5 more so you get bug spray and kill them.then you'll look over and there will be about 100 in a conga line coming into your home.And that's just if the fire-ants are scouting for food because some times you'll be making dinner,taking a shower,or watching TV when you notice a line of Fire-ants coming out of your wall. so you call an exterminator and then he cuts a hole in the wall you both look inside and discover there's an actual colony complete with a queen ant an eggs. Does anyone like fire ants at all?
My worst experience with fire-ants is when I discovered that the wall next to my bed was filled with a large colony of Fire-ants. I discovered this colony when i was throwing a ball against the was and it broke though. The fire-ants had actually eaten away at the wall long enough to make it so that a tennis ball easily broke though. Well I decided to reach in and get the ball,on a side-note I had no clue the ants were there when I did this, and my hand was bitten to hell to the point that I had to go to the hospital and almost lost my left hand. On top of that it took 3 days to get my room ant free so I had to sleep on the old couch in the living room. The only "lucky" thing that happened was that the colony wasn't spread through the entire house it was just in my room and I got to keep all my left hand. To add insult to injury I never got my tennis ball back.Anyone else have a horrible experience?
