On October 31st, I got on my Xbox, ready to play, when it starts acting weird. It didn't log me in to XBL automatically, so I did it manually, and then, thats when I was freaked. My friends list was blank, I couldn't access messages, or join partys, as it said parental controls were active, so I checked, and they were off. I then got onto Halo Reach, and it said my account couldn't access XBL, as it wasn't Gold, even though it said so on the dashboard I was. I have tried recovering my account, and deleting the system cache, but nothing helped. Does anyone know about this type of problem, and any fixes?

Have you downloaded the update yet? There was a big update that you needed because Kinect just came out or something.
A huge update was released today, did you update your 360? I hear your online account wont work unless you update.
I haven't had any technical problems with it... though I can't say that I'm particularly fond of the update.
... though I do like the search function they added to Netflix, that makes things a lot easier. No more having to flip through the five hundred or so movies in my instant cue just to get to the one I want.

Oh, I've heard of updating issues that caused certain(sometimes all) features to be missing and/or corrupted. Sadly I have no idea how to deal with this. Sorry.The Rookie Gamer said:

I can't even download the update. I'm forever forsaken from Live...until Microsoft fixes their problems.
