Anyone else interested in L.A Noire?

I'm intersted but I pretty much figured out who the killer was during the preview of the "lipstick" murder shown at PAX East. Haven't Played it yet but I'm pretty sure the killer is

He shows all the signs of being a Serial killer in the short conversation you have with him, and the guys showing us the preview seemed to purposely not place any attention on him at all.

But I maybe wrong like I said I haven't played it yet this is just a hunch I have from the preview.

There are 21 different cases through out the game, all of them different, with different suspects and culprits

This is true. However,as I've been told, once you reach Homicide there is a Serial Killer plot that begins to show itself. I've also been told there is Mention of the Black Dahlia murder (the murder of Elizabeth Short), and that there is atleast one note sent to the station signed "Tex". That concludes my knowledge of this game, but I think it's sufficent enough to tell me it's more than just 21 completely seperate cases.

Uh...holy shit, bro. Your guess was right...he's The Werewolf, perpetrator of the Black Dahlia murders. That's...impressive.

I didn't even notice that guy until the end of the final homicide case.

No real interest. You solve all cases the same way and are led by the hand. Also you can not fail a case, you always solve them without fail regardless of what you do or how you question. Seems like one step up from those crappy CSI games. But atleast the facial movements etc look great, hopefully they will use it in something better.

You do get led by the hand in a way but it's not a bad thing. It has a very cinematic feel to it. It's very thought provoking. I found myself getting annoyed when I had to get into a car chase or a shoot out because it broke up my investigation into the cases.

The facial expressions just add to it too. Love this game.

I've been watching the videos on the official site, http://www.rockstargames.com/lanoire/ and I must say it looks pretty damn interesting. May can't come any sooner for me.

I would be however they are probably going to release it on the PC when they release Red dead redemtpion....as in NEVER

I want the ability to fuck up and fail, i question to early and have the wrong facts to back up my questions. Thus failed. This game doesnt let you so whats the point? Might rent it if nothing to do but not worth buying. Its probably fun to play, but your not a real detective if you are pointed towards everything. That ruins it for me. But i do love the graphics and the animation.

Yeah it is a bit annoying that you can never truely fail. They only get away if it's in the script. But I don't think it takes away from it being a great game with an excellent story. Definitely worth checking out imo.

I've played GTA games, and i must be honest, I never really liked them, and 90% of the time, i ended up running around, getting a ton of weapons, the biggest vehicle, and going on a KILLING SPREE! so i was reluctant to purchase L.A.NOIR, but i did, and its actually good. I for one SO prefer this game over GTA in every way.

On PS3 - 320Gb. I've been playing on my friend's PS3 and it works fine, but I've never had any problems with my PS3 before.. Don't really know what to do; hoping they release a patch for it soon.

I want it, but I am going to wait a while before picking it up, I want to see if I can get it for a cheaper price than what I have seen it as. However, seeing as it is a new release, I am going to have to wait a little bit longer.
