it's hard to explain but i will try

when i am at home i turn into a moody prick, always being sarcastic and not motivated to do anything

when i am at college, i try my hardest and i am friendly towards everyone and generally in a good mood

i don't know why this is because i live in a nice home, my parents are nice, supportive, everything you could want in a parent

[small](except the fact that they always go on my sisters side in an argument, but what sibling hasn't said that before)[/small]

i will probably grow out of this phase ,but i'm just curious as to whether anyone else is/has going/gone through this or something similar

When you have something for too long, you grow weary of it. Like parents and partners, for instance.
Once you move out, you'll feel less agitated.

You'll see.

You sure it's not a depression thing. Not to say you are depressed but like when you are holed up in your room staring at a screen it can take an effect on your personality. Ofc it can.
Then when you are with your friends, you are socialising and happy cos you have a life! :p

I find the same thing. I took the face off all my family members today for no reason. I got sun and a fucking new car and i have no reason to be miserable. Today was a good day but I am stressed about some uni stuff so i dunno I guess I personally take it out on them.

Maybe you are similar :p *hugs* dontbestressed!

I'm sort of like this but for different reasons. I can get very moody often but it isn't constrained to just my home. When I'm moody, I tend to be withdrawn, negative, and depressed.

Frankly, I'm not completely sure what causes it, at least not for the OP. Everyone is different. Maybe you just need a change of scene or something?
