I was thinking back to that ancient time of the internet, all the way back in the early 2000's. Back then, some genius created the predecessor to the rick roll. It was nicknamed "last measure", and would generally crash anyone who was unlucky enough to click an infected link. When you did, you would get infinite pop up windows, featuring pictures of gross or shocking images (if you've been on the internet for more then a month, I'm sure you can imagine what kinds of things I am talking about). The only thing that actually made it even slightly amuzeing was that the whole time, an audio file would be blaring "Hey everybody! I'm looking at gay porno!" Eventually, your computer runs out of ram and will crash.
There was a million pranks people pulled with this sound, most of which were harmless and hilarious. The reason I thought of this was that its been about long enough since this was popular, that I was going to try to use just the sound file to play a joke on some of my friends. The problem of course is that 8 years ago is so far in the past that it is pretty much gone now, as most of the links are broken. That said, I'm over the whole thing, but just wanted to see how many of us on here have been around long enough to remember this thing.
For the love of god, if you still have a working link DO NOT POST IT. I dont want to have people's computers getting messed up over something this old.
