It is entirely possible that i'm the only one on here who cares about Impossible Creatures anymore, but does anyone else have any thoughts about a sequel?

I really enjoyed that game until part way through the campaign when it got effing impossible to win. If they made a sequel it'd need some serious revamping and like 90 more animals.

That was easily the best pc game ever and anyone who disagrees with me is a giant turdsneeze, if they made it with loads more animals it would be fucking awesome. Still the best combination would be a lion with a scorpion stinger.

That game was awesome beyond belief. I loved just making the most stupid creature possible and as i would watch it try and and actually do something i would laugh. It provided me with much amusement :p

(Yes, i am easily amused)

Sorry to bump an older thread but:

Still kinda alive, we play using Hamachi because the evil Microsoft fags took ICO down.

Just for anyone who's interested.

If you want new stock animals, there's a mod around that adds 30+ new stock animals to combine with, be sure to download it.

No, the left-over modders are continuing development on another mod, Creature Chaos. They used all the creatures by the other non official mods and put them in theirs, and made some of their own, such as the Diplodocus (size 12), Liopleureodon, Woodpecker, Grasshopper and the Wild Dog.

Wow, yet another game that I have never heard of that has a massive and loyal following.

I shall download from the link provided (thank you DominicxD) and let you know my answer when this thread is old, crusty and probably forgotten about.

I shall repeat the same thing I did at Xfire's forums, and that is displaying the basic characteristics of the game;

The game is Starcraftish in terms of gameplay, but it has many more units available, since you can design over 50000 different units to use in-game, and online. You do this by combining parts of different stock animals, and thus influencing their statistics and abilities. The game also boasts an amazing graphical engine (at least for it's time that is), a campaign of 15 missions, an official online service (that has recently been shut down by microsoft, and then revived by a community member who dissapeared about 3 months after he revived it, taking the online service with him), a LAN service (which we now use as the playing mean combined with hamachi) and an amazingly fast and easy to use Mission Editor (if you ever used Far Cry 2's ME, you'll be very familiar with it).

It was made by Relic, so you know you'll have a good experience with it.
