Sooo there are two book series that I like and no one around my town (Maybe bacause I live in Georgia and everyone here is inbred.) Thats neither here nor there.

Anyway.

So this one is by E.E. Knight and it's called the Vampire Earth Series. There is like seven books and the 8th is coming out next tuesday.

The other is called the God Slayer Chronicles and there is only two so far and there has been a two year lapse in between the second and the third with no release date in sight. Lame sauce.

So anyone heard of it. If so lemme know, if not GO READ THEM.

I've heard of them, but never got to read them. I heard they were good though, but our local libraries are small and only have certain books (I usually only borrow books).

Might have to read it, sounds alright, don't like the sound of the first one though.

Actually of the two I like Vampire Earth alot more. Im not a huge fan of vampires; Especially ones who sparkle but Knight does it in a very good way. He takes the normal vampires and puts a weird twist on them (not like sparkling or having X-Men powers).

Vampire Earth follows the main character David Valentine through a post-apacolyptic America and Carribeans as he helps the resistance fight off "Vampires". The are mostly reffered to as Reapers because they wear Large black cloaks. They don't kill everyone. They kinda herd humans like cattle and for their obiedence they give them a false freedom. The resistance force is helped by good versions of the Reapers called Life Weavers. Help them by like hightening senses and shit. Its really awesome. Its well written, characters are easy to like, good plot. Its worth picking up.

God Slayer Chronicles follows Marcus who is this man who use to be a Shadow Knight. (Knights that protected this certain God.) When it starts off his has a cippled arm, can barely walk, and is a poor drunk man because he was stripped of his title and sold to slavery for a crime he commited a long time ago. Anyway. He witnesses a God being killed which has never happened in the history of foreverness. As the Gods dying she restores his health and leaves a mark on his chest. He goes on a quest to find out what is killing the Gods a shit. Oh and if he is attacked and one of his bones are broke or he breaks a bone on purpose the soul of the God bust out of the mark she left on him as a giant shadow wolf thing and anything it touches turns to ash. But he is turned back all crippled until it returns to him. Not ask good as Vampire Earth but still really interesting.

Never heard of them, but it's neat to find there's another Escapist in Joe-Juh.

Not a huge fan of vampire books in particular, but in general, I like supernatural stuff, so I guess I'll give 'em a try.
