As everyone here knows, or at least, people who have come across me, I am a big retro game fan.
And one retro game I like, is Cocoron. Have you played or at least heard of Eversion? The music from that game comes from this.
It's a really nice NES/Famicom game that, like many people have said, is kind of comparable to a mix between a jRPG and Megaman. Particularly the Megaman part.

There are English versions of the game floating out there, not that you really need it.
I advise people to pick up this game. Again, it's a really good one. Especially if you're a fan of classic Megaman games.
One thing I like about the game definitely, is that it has some challenge, while actually generally being fair and never being too punishing. It's a great way to get into this sort of genre. In fact, a flaw of the game might be that it's slightly too easy. It has definitely some challenge, but Megaman veterans will find the game an utter breeze.
