Well i guess the title is pretty self explantory ,for those of you who don`t know what i`m talking about this [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Odin_sphere] should clarify a bit ,for those of you who have played it(which i would assume would be most of you who are reading this topic) what did you think??,personally i think it`s a good game ,incredibly fustrating at times (the only action-RPG that i can think of where i`ve had to seriously grind)but stunning with a half decent plot ,and good gameplay behind it,to the point where i`ve started playing again (found my old copy and PS2 in the attic)and am currently wrapping up the valkyrie book

(and before the "use the search bar" crew turn up i did have a breif look around but found nothing)

Yes I have and sure it was pretty WHEN IT WASN'T LAGGY. The gameplay was solid WHEN IT WASN'T LAGGY and it got really repetative when you have to play through the same level for the 5th time with a different character.

Story was pretty good though.

Yeah, can't say it really grabbed me though. Like a lot of the Nippon Ichi games. I just don't have time or the patience to try and get to the real meat of their games.

I own it. I played it for 2-3 hours, but I got incredibly frustrated with the limited inventory and the strange obsession with Mulberries (which were almost useless) that the game seemed to harbor, at least in that first act. Also, magic attacks (or whatever the game called them) took forever to charge up and didn't seem to really do all that much, even though the tutorial touted them as necessary for victory. I put it down and haven't touched it since, though the story had a lot of potential and I just might try it again for that.

This might not be the most encouraging thing to say ,but it gets worse as the game seems to do away with food that you can eat off the bat and just gives you dozens of seeds ,half of which don`t do a great deal of health regen or indeed anything at all

What got me for as pretty as it is (and it is gorgeous) there isn't much substance to the graphics. So when you look at a game like God of War it is pretty with substance and Odin Sphere was the one tripping over itself trying to run.

Story is amazing if you can see it through.

Good luck with that. It took me more than sixty hours.
