Well, it really depends on the type. If you like dubstep, Skrillex is pretty good.
If you're more into dance you probably want to check out Daft Punk (I'd suggest their live stuff, as their albums can get repetitive pretty quickly.) A lot of people like Deadmau5, but I've never really liked his beats.
If you like trance, Tiesto is pretty good, though I prefer Armin van Buuren. Check out his show Trance Around the World if you're interested. It's basically a 2 hour long mix of a bunch of awesome trance stuff.
EDIT:
I figured I might as well post one of my favorites.
This is technically dubstep, but if you're anything like me you didn't know that at first.
This one isn't dubstep. It reminds me of a beautiful sunrise. [sub][sub]Yes, it's cheesy, I know.[/sub][/sub]

Hmm, you really are going to have to specify there as 'Techno' is really an over-generalising term (No, really. This [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u7K72X4eo_s] qualifies as 'Techno' according to a music section in a local retail chain.) Just making this comment in terms of suggestions you're going to be getting things from all over the electronic music spectrum, not to be all snooty and all.
Personally? I find you can't go wrong with some of 90's era stuff but I'm an old man in that regard, especially as I'm more a fan of slower ambient tracks than the super-fast hectic stuff (which I do enjoy from time to time). But I'm thinking you're not exactly going to be sharing the mood in that regard (and for some reason Cabaret Voltaire's 'Brutal but Clean' isn't on Youtube), so I'll just give the specific mention for this:
Daft Punk: Homework, Discovery, and Alive 2007.
Homework is hit and miss with a few people, Discovery is just a damned instant classic for an album, and Alive 2007 is a collection of live remixes of the previous two (plus another studio album called Human After All, but that one's skipable according to a lot of people).
