Anyone know the status of Culdcept DS?

I know Culdcept DS dropped in Japan around the end of 2008 or early 2009. I also know Culdcept Saga on 360 took nearly two years to translate and localize. But even taking that into account, we're getting to the point that if Sega or Namco meant to import the game to the West, we probably would have heard something.

I really want this game and its not something I'd likely, import. Anyone know more than me?

This is the first I've heard of this series, but a quick Google search revealed to me an unofficial fan translation of Culdcept DS.
It's a ~98% complete translation patch. I don't want to link to it in case such gray-area content is against the forum rules, but I'm just tryin' to help a brotha out.
So if you have the unsavory means to utilize such content, you might want to check that out.

Apparently the game would be rather hard to understand unless you knew the language, so this may be your only option anyways.
