Anyone live near any game companies (developers or publishers)?

I don't think I need to elaborate on the title here. Personally I didn't know this for a long time but when looking up games made by mistwalker on wikipedia I realized they were based in Honolulu which is where I live. After a quick google search I found out they were about 20-30 minutes away from me by car or bus. So does anyone here live near any game companies. Do you like or hate them?

EA Tiburon (the studio that makes the Madden games) is only about an hour away from my house -- and apparently located in a pretty small town. Another fun fact: the original IBM PC was invented in the same state, which is definitely not California.

I live in Irvine California.
Blizzard it is. I don't know its exact location but it should be about 15 minute drive.

I used to like them. But I think Activision took over its soul.

I live near blizzard. Drive by their dev studio at least once a week (get escorted out by security at least once a week as well).

I live near EA HQ in Redwood Shores, CA.

Place has all the amenities you would ever need, so the employees never have to leave. Which may explain why I never see anyone going in or out.

Not so hot for EA, but they let me use their basketball and volleyball courts for free so eh....

Living in the South Bay, I live fairly close to the LA offices of a few companies. Namely, EA LA, Konami, Square Enix, Tecmo, and Aksys off the top of my head.

If I get the job I'm applying for, I'll be working right next to the developers of Fable, and a few other games.

Otherwise nope.

I live like 5 minutes away from Tripwire Interactive (Red Orchestra/Killing Floor), and 10 minutes away from Hi-Rez Studios (Global Agenda/Tribes:Ascend).

I'm about 45 minutes (driving) away from Icognito Entertainment. You may know them from famous titles such as Twisted Metal, Warhawk, and... not much else really.

Creative Assembly used to be down my street, now it's in the town that's 10 minutes drive from me.

Also it's possible to take a single bus from that town to get to the city LionHead Studios is in.

At the moment I'm living in Copenhagen, and I'm about half an hour away from IO Interactive (Hitman, Kane and Lynch). Playdead, the guys who made Limbo, are also somewhere in the city, but I have no idea where.

I used to live down the road from the Leeds Innovation Centre, where some small developer used to be based, I think (not sure which one though). Also in the same city, one of the main UK-based Rockstar offices, Rockstar Leeds (the branch responsible for GTA Chinatown Wars and some of the franchise ports, as well as helping with the main titles) have their base. I've applied for jobs with them a few times. And now, I live in the Midlands, and I'm a short train ride from Leamington Spa, where Codemasters are based .

Well Im in austin, and Blizzard has an HQ here as well as Irving CA, so Im probly close to atleast a portion of their dev team.

Honestly Ive always wanted to go down there and see if they offer any kind of tour. Im just enough of a fanboy to love that.

I too live near Ubisoft Toronto.... and I'm about an hour's drive from Silicon Knights... makers of Eternal Darkness and Too Human... and the latest X-Men flop...

I live near Raven Software. I even helped put on one of their company parties while I was working for a party catering company.

They ruined the newest Wallenstein game though, so I can't give them too much love. I did enjoy Marvel Ultimate Alliance though.
