Anyone noticed Youtube has changed yet?

I like it. I've seen it on some videos, but not all before now. They've changed youtube for only a few people at at time for beta testing before, by the way.

I like the black and you know what they say "once you go black, you never go back" so this layout'll stay for a while.

Yeah I noticed. Once more a totally useless update for some reason, but at least I prefer the new look. I expect there would have been a few changes for easier incorporation with Google+, obviously not cosmetic ones so no ones going to notice...

Hopefully, they do keep this change, they swapped a bit of the dull grey and replaced with an awesome black video player.

Now they just need to give back the option during Earth day to change the page black

I'm a bit unsure how people have had the design for ages and people just got overnight as it seems?

Also put on that cosmic panda design and finding absolutely amazing, how long has it been around actually? I just noticed the link in one of the posts.

They've changed the playlist layout as well.

They seem to change something every few weeks so it's not really worth pointing things out.

I like it. Gives a more mature look to the website. More changes like this please.

From a graphic design point of view, it's very weak. Inconsistent tone with the rest of the website, not as clear as before, and black is just an imitation of maturity. It's become a "thing" to make everything related to technology black nowadays because it's an easy way to make it look professional. Black and blocky.

Also, the new google bar looks disgusting.

Yeah I notice the black colour today and I'm not really bother about it since after all it's just a colour change.

This is probably part of a transition to the testing layout that's in testing right now "Cosmic Panda" I've been using the Cosmic Panda layout for a bit now and it overall makes the player darker, there's a more customizable video size option thingy, now the player has an area of its own and all the suggestions show up in a sidebar underneath the video, and you can see people's channel avatar next to their name in the comments. Those are all the most important changes there are a couple of minor things not worth mentioning. Overall its a very nice layout and I'd be perfectly fine if it became the default layout.

It must of happened some time early today or in the afternoon, because of was watching Penn and Teller last night at around 2 to 3 in the morning and it wasn't like that.

It's been that way for well over a month for me...

That is odd, I've never seen selective updates on the net that only happen to certain people and then other people get it over time.

This happened to my brother when the new layout was implemented into Youtube, so this has happened before.
