Are there any relationship elements in the game between you and party members?
Erm, vaguely. Sort of. The two companion characters[footnote]There are two with personalities and, like, dialogue. You can also get more hirelings but they don't don't say anything.[/footnote] don't have a lot - occasionally they'll comment with their thoughts on a situation you encounter and the main characters can agree with or denounce the comment but it's only fluff. The relationship with them doesn't get much deeper than that - you can keep scolding them for their beliefs and they won't leave the party or anything, similarly, only ever agreeing with them won't win you "loyalty points".
The two main characters do have a lot of conversation with each other - mostly concerning each one's view on a particular thing - they can agree/disagree on a variety of points. At the end of the game depending on how divided/close they there are a variety of endings for them - from becoming lovers through there being a one-sided affection to them sort of just drifting apart.
So I guess, the short answer is "not really". For basically the whole game the two keep a professional relationship with probably some friendship thrown in and the very end is just a brief description of "what happened after".
