A terrific dark fantasy hack 'n' slash effort for the PS One with some pitch black humour that was actually funny. God I miss that game. A sequel is what's needed!

I remember it; I remember enjoying the demo back in the day, but never actually getting a full copy of the game. There actually was a sequel, but I can't remember if it was on the PS1 or the PS2 (it came out right around the time of the PS2's launch.)

There was indeed a sequel, MediEvil 2. It was a 2000 PS One release.

Yes, I did, and I remember loving it, although it was responsible for my constant misspelling of the word 'Medieval' for much of my childhood, since I didn't realize it was a pun.
