Anyone remember...

...the game, "Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy?"

It was released for PC, PS2, and XBOX, if I recall, and I played a demo for it for the PS2 a long, long time ago, on a disk that came with a Playstation Magazine. If I remember correctly, it was a blast, and had some of the most fun ways to mess around with enemies I have ever experienced.

Now, I've looked up about the game on the net, and you can even download it for free, legally on Fileplanet, but I wanted to see if anyone ever got it when it was fresh, or even recently.

How is/was it?

I actually loved it! THe multiplayer is a *****, as two people work together to control one player... It was just a set up to get people bickering "NO! Run this way, no go over there so I can use TK on that! You're going the wrong way! Shoot the dude next time!"

Single player was lots of fun though

I had the demo, and I recently got the game full. Have yet to try the multiplayer, but I'll be damned if it isn't amazing fun the chuck people all around the room. I'm kinda in the middle, but I've been putting it off for a few weeks in favor of Rise To Honor, another epic PS2 game.

yyyeaahhh... Midway (I think) released it for adware-riddled "free" a while back. I played half of the first level.

HOLY SHIT that game was AWESOME. I rented that a long long time ago and I had a blast playing it. The powers were a lot of fun and it was a solid TPS to boot.
