For a little backstory, I've had Minecraft for a while, and played on one SMP server a while ago, but I got banned from there because I discovered the "woman" running the server was a dude by using elite hacker tools like myspace and google, and decided to tell people about it.
I decided to take a bit of a break from Minecraft to keep it from getting stale, but I think I'd like to give it another shot. Rather than take a shot in the dark with some random server on the minecraft forums, I figured I'd be better off asking you guys.
Oh and I checked the "Official Escapist Minecraft Server" group. Going in there was like discovering an ancient civilization that left no trace as to how or why they disappeared, and all of their history is recorded on small wooden signs. Also everything that can burn seems to be on fire.
