It's true. People don't ever listen (or read), they're just waiting to give their response. These two major points of conversation are missed so forums trolls can show off what they think they know about games and say "OLOLOL It's a MADZ Rip off".twistedshadows said:The reason it has some similarities to DMC is because it's from Hideki Kamiya, but it's not actually related to the DMC series.
I'm not sure it will be good, but it interests me that her armor is actually made of her hair. She also uses magic through her hair, so the more magic she uses, the more skin she reveals. She can also shoot with guns strapped to her feet.
The good ol' question of "When will people understand the difference between publisher and developer?" springs to mind. Please, read the discussion before commenting randomly. I know, post-count is the second most impotant thing after breathing but ease up.Indigo_Dingo said:Yeah, but this one looks extremely dumbStrafe Mcgee said:But, to be fair, DMC was pretty damn dumb to begin with.Indigo_Dingo said:It looks like Devil May Cry, written, directed and starring Sarah Palin.
It looks majorly dumb.
I heard she can shoot with her feet. I was like "Cool" but then I saw the rest of the tailer.Strafe Mcgee said:I think with Bayonetta it's best to look at it as the spiritual successor to DMC. Which is good, because DMC 4 really wasn't very good. Plus he's making the game with many members of
Team Clover, creators of Okami and Viewtiful Joe, which is an extremely good thing. I wouldn't be surprised if Bayonetta completely blows DMC away.
Forgive me, but I read that as "Yeah, but this one isn't a Sony exclusive."Indigo_Dingo said:Yeah, but this one looks extremely dumbStrafe Mcgee said:But, to be fair, DMC was pretty damn dumb to begin with.Indigo_Dingo said:It looks like Devil May Cry, written, directed and starring Sarah Palin.

I do know what you mean. I thought that Mad World was a pretty bad concept for a game and this looks a bit better to me but I don't normally enjoy playing this type of game. I do think that the visual style of the environments is pretty bold and well realised in a way that very few games are. They seem to be going for something that is almost offensive to the senses in this game but while doing that it does seem to be very well made. I suppose as a gamer it's like being raised on bland fatty food then sitting down to a meal with unusually strong tastes prepared by a top chef.Indigo_Dingo said:If you'd like me to go into loving detail on why I tink Brutal Legend sounds like the very pinnacle of cool in all aspects outside of its gameplay, and possibly the decision to cast Jack Black as the lead over Brendon Smalls, I will. However, this game consists of a woman wearing a zipped up leather bodysuit fighting robot angels, with guns on her feet, and dialogue that sounds like it would make Resident Evil blush. Attacks consist of the lead stripping. The developers made care to point out how much loving detail they put into perfectly rendering her ass-cheeks. And the character still looks like Sarah Palin.More Fun To Compute said:Forgive me, but I read that as "Yeah, but this one isn't a Sony exclusive."
I don't understand either mentality. The game hasn't been released so how can either one of you be right? Tim is not perfect even though he does have a good record. Just because Jack is involved doesn't mean well jack. it could be great, it could fail or it could be average.More Fun To Compute said:I can't understand the mentality of someone who thinks that Brütal Legend will be crap. It's so clearly going to be the greatest game ever that you must be lying to get attention or something.UNKNOWNINCOGNITO said:they shall both be crappysethzard said:brutal legend and bayonetta, which one are you talking about?
I was, for a second, going to scream "I ALREADY LINKED THEM!!". But, as I just checked, I copied the brutal legend link, I now understand why confusion started. My bad!Sparrow Tag said:Linkage for Bayonetta for those that want it: http://www.play.com/Games/PlayStation3/4-/5826771/-/Product.html?searchstring=bayonetta&searchsource=0
And it looks meh.
She has four pistols (two on her ankles), it's made by the same guy, Shinki Mikami, and while DMC is supposed ot be stylish action, Bayonetta is supposed to be over-the-top, bat shit crazy action.MetalBaird said:So here I am, scanning through the ps3 pre-order list on play.com and came across a few things I'm tempted to order, like, Brutal Legend or I Am Alive.
I came across this http://www.play.com/Games/PlayStation3/4-/4026069/Brutal-Legend/Product.html *watch the trailer* and well, I was simply thinking.
COULD THERE BE A BIGGER DEVIL MAY CRY RIP OFF?!!?!?!?!
A woman, in sexy leather wear, 2 pistols, the ability to change into a demon, from what I saw a weak story character of the opposite sex and a whole lot of Demonic enemies! seriously, wtf is with Sega?
Baird out
You know who's working on Brutal Legend Right?UNKNOWNINCOGNITO said:they shall both be crappysethzard said:brutal legend and bayonetta, which one are you talking about?
