I do know what you mean. I thought that Mad World was a pretty bad concept for a game and this looks a bit better to me but I don't normally enjoy playing this type of game. I do think that the visual style of the environments is pretty bold and well realised in a way that very few games are. They seem to be going for something that is almost offensive to the senses in this game but while doing that it does seem to be very well made. I suppose as a gamer it's like being raised on bland fatty food then sitting down to a meal with unusually strong tastes prepared by a top chef.Indigo_Dingo said:

But to the point, Bayonnetta can look as copied or as inspired by as it wants. But as DMC proved, repetition does not favor with the gaming community. The first Devil May Cry was a masterpiece, 2nd was a bit less so, 3rd one got a little bit better and the forth was epic fail. In the end it doesnt really matter who's working on it now weither its Shinji Mikami or Sarah Palin. Its still going to be a tremendously cliche'd and repeated game with the story and dialoge failing so badly to drag you in that it might as well be trying to impress you by peeing in your ear.
She has four pistols (two on her ankles), it's made by the same guy, Shinki Mikami, and while DMC is supposed ot be stylish action, Bayonetta is supposed to be over-the-top, bat shit crazy action.MetalBaird said:

Tbh, I dont know Tim Schaffer is, other than what Yatzee *Zero Punctuation obv* has said. And in my opinion as a music student! is that that Brutal Legend looks *from the trailer* to be an incredible FILM idea, rather than a game idea. But hey, we are in the next generation of games and surpizes can still happen! for example, in 2020 Duke Nukem Forever MIGHT be released!!
