Anything special for Halloween?

Maybe not necessarily the holiday, but next week in general, since o'er here, it is a week-long school holiday. I don't usually do much for Halloween, maybe this year I'll finally man up and watch Evil Dead, or I might just wimp out instead and watch a Kubrick flick

I'll be going to Comic Con soon, and I might even do something with my family; maybe going to see a play or something like that... I'll also be looking out for Steam sales, working on a project and maybe doing something productive round these forums!

What about you? Anything fun planned for All Hallow's Eve/Next week?

I'm almost, all the way, out of medical debt so I've missed out on a number of things this year...Last Friday I went and saw The Book of Life though so there's that. I liked it a lot more than Corpse Bride to be honest. For the next week though, I'm going to be working...which is lame but money is nice...on Halloween itself I may play some Power Stone, Prince of Persia, or some other dead franchise because...ya know...dia de los muertos...of course that's a day or two after Halloween...

Local cinema's showing Halloween (the John Carpenter movie) on days 30 and 31. I'd like going. I've never seen the movie and watching it for the first time in the big screen would be nice. I wonder how impossible it will be to get tickets though.

The next day I'm joining a Call of Cthulhu tabletop game. Again, first time doing this so I have no idea what to expect. I'm roleplaying as a made up character I've been given by the hosts, a professor who doesn't dress very well, I even bought fake moustaches and a (real) smoking pipe. Should be fun!

My boyfriend's staying for the weekend so we might go out for drinks with my friends. :3

This is the first year I can remember where I don't have a costume sorted or even an idea for a costume. I'm so disappointed with myself.

I love halloweens in Michigan, Because that's always the weekend of Youmacon. A wonderful place where I can ditch the childish notion of dressing up as a stupid cartoon character for Halloween, and instead "cosplay" as a stupid anime character instead! Adulthood is grand.

I fucking love Halloween.

Last year a friend of mine had an awesome Halloween party and we all dressed up. We watched Alien and Halloween late at night. Sadly, I won't be doing much this year since all my friends are super busy with life and I'm going to be selfish and not do anything since I've been super busy. Kinda sucks, but oh well.

I'll probably just play horror games all day and drink.
