Lith

After catching a ride on a Tojan, that was hauling ammunition to the city?s guns, Lith approached the defences with little trouble. Heh...guess nobody wants to direct the Inquisition's attention their way...

She couldn't help but chuckle as the defenders 'talked' the attacking Orks. Climbing a ladder to the top of the walls, she found herself standing beside a young Leftenant, who was watching his men with amusement. "You know Sir, if a Commissar saw or heard this, he?d tan you hire something fierce." She said, by way of introduction. The Leftenant spun towards her at the sound of an unfamiliar voice. "And just who th-" He barked, catching himself sort as he saw the Inquisitorial insignia on her armour. "Don't worry Sir," She replied, with her lopsided smirk. "I'm not here in an official capacity...and even if I were, I see no problem with your men having a bit of sport as it were."

"Well that's a relief..." He replied, albeit a bit hesitantly. "Oh...forgive me Sir. Sergeant Ortona, formerly of the Cadian One Twelve. Just came up to see how thing were going." "Good to meet you Sgt. Lt. Titus of the Ninety Sixth." Rummaging in a pocket of his armour, Titus pulled out a battered Lho-stick tin. "Smoke?" "Much appreciated." Using the glowing end of the stick he was already working on, he lit a second one and handed it to Lith.

Helena nodded as Lith and Urd left the training room. She took another swig from the canteen and wiped her brow with her towel. She flexed her augmented hand. It seemed to be slower then it had been. Must have pulled something. It should been fine for now. Helena thought before making her way to an unused punching bag. She began slowly at first. one two, one two. Then she picked up her pace, right jab, right jab, left hook. She began to breath heavily. Already? She stopped and let her breath even out. She took a few deep breaths. It was certainly harder.

Hmm she may have damaged one of the filters. Perfect. Helena sighed She grabbed her towel and canteen. On her way back she noticed her vision getting fuzzy. Soon she could only see the left side of the hallways. Her right eye had gone out. Damn her, circuits loose in my eye too? She made her way to the barracks and left her canteen and towel with her armor. She slowly made her way to the medicae. One of the Hospitallers gesturing to her eye. "It seems several of my implants have either ceased working or malfunctioned." The Sister sighed and told her to follow. Moments later the Hospitaller jabbed a needle in her arm as a Tech-priest began adjusting the tools he would need. Soon Helena felt the familiar falling sensation and she was out cold.

She woke sometime later in the small cot she had claimed in the bunk house, able to see and breath right again. Hopefully these things have been re-enforced. It would be disastrous for something to go wrong mid battle. She thought laying her head back. With luck she would get a few hours of sleep before she was needed again.

Urd smiled and closed her eyes as Dante kissed her on the forehead and pulled her in close. She in turn wrapped her arms around him "Assuming that thing you need to do with 'Lara doesn't drag on." she said sleepily, snuggling into him. "But yeah, a nap sounds good." she said and barely finished before simply nodding off in Dante's arms.
