apparently, the Highlander Remake is already doomed

remember back in 2009 when a remake of the first Highlander was announced?

was I the only one who looked up to it as a nice little something after all the catastrophe known as the Highlander series (you know, all the sequels and pretty much anything on the media Highlander related)*

*except Search for Vengeance anime, that was glorious

to the point, the remake is being written by Melissa Rosenberg, you know, the one who wrote cinematography's finest, "Twilight"

then again, there could be a bit of hope, I mean, she wrote a bunch of episodes for Dexter
