I've been learning recently about the research of Masaru Emoto, whose claims that water is actually effected by words spoken to it, positive and negative, has recerived [http://recentlyawakened.hubpages.com/hub/The-Messages-From-Water] much attention [http://msnvideo.msn.com/?channelindex=4&from=en-us_msnhp#/video/cb317eda-adf7-101b-1d46-550f078891eb]. Its some very strange claims to make, but the man has done a lot of experiments into it. I'm very skeptical, as I'm sure most of us are, and won't be buying his conclusions anytime soon. The main flaw I see is how would water be capable of detecting positive or negative meanings in words? How would it deal with sarcasm, or words that mean something completely different in other languages? Then again, I haven't reas his book, so its entirely possible there's some explanation for all this (maybe water is capable of sensing our emotions? That would require our feelings to be actual molecules, but given how complex quantum mechanics is, I wouldn't be surprised).
And now I ask you, fellow forum goer, what you're thoughts on this whole study are?
