Christ is that ment to be a joke? Some of these "journalists" are so bloody incompetent I can't quite be sure anymore, we get it they hate games, but their smarmy self righteousness just makes them look like complete fools, "collecting dew in human skulls" could you give me the name of that game because I'm not sure I've heard of it. 'rant over'

It's from The Onion. Of course it's a joke. That's what The Onion is about.

It's from the Onion News Network, a comedy website, (which I happen to have on my RSS feed).

Make sure you also check out the Ninja Day Parade coverage.

If you check the tags on the video, you'll see that it is clearly marked "comedy," "funny," and "satire." So, yes, I believe this whole thing is a joke. Also, common sense.

That's Onion News Network, it's just a joke. They are a parody of all the other news network that; like you said are so bloody incompetent.

I've always hoped that games would help people a little bit more ready for the zombie apocolaypse.

And by that I mean that you DON'T take the screaming giddy idiot on a retrieval mission, and you DON'T assume that some people standing in the middle of it all human-like are still human.

Sorry... kinda got frustrated there.

I love the Onion so much, and I saw this relatively recently. They have some other great videos involving gaming too.

But in all honesty, no, they're not...xD

Well I'm both relieved and a little embarassed, but after Fox news ran that story on Mass effect I'd believe anything was real.

So silly... yet so close to some real stories about games. Does anyone remember the one about "the secret language of gamers"(or something like that)?

Unless the apocalypse is built on low-range computer hardware and requires quicktime events, then no, games aren't helping us prepare for impending doom.
