Are humans a Disease?

I recently watched this one part in the matrix poster here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hn6WZh17BF4 about the agents' little rant saying how humans are like a disease, multiplying and consuming it's host.

So I thought Are we really a disease?

i believe we are. humans are extremely violent and have a one track mind. sounds like a disease to me. it wouldnt be so bad if we lived WITH nature and not try to override it. this may sound melodramatic/emo, but if that supposed global disaster happens in 2012, perhaps it will jump-start a new and healthier way of thinking/living, after a good portion of us are gone. start fresh and start smarter.
