Are there any video game with a female as the MAIN villain ?

King's Quest VII had a female villain. The two main playable characters were also female, and I found it an interesting dynamic that when all the most important characters are women, their personalities felt more believable and easier to relate to. With the exception of the villain, lol.

dungeon siege 3 has Jeyne Kassynder as the main villen , the chronicles of riddick assult on dark athena is another and the fear games have alma ...... although that last one is up for disscusion cos i say alma has every right tbh :/

Dragon Age Origins archdemon is the old god Urthemiel, goddess of beauty, so you could consider the archdemon a "she". Also, in Dragon Age 2 if you side with the Mage circle, the boss is female. To round it out, there's the Broodmother in Awakening. Sorry, didn't mean to cover just DA, was only going to mention part 2, but got thinking.

Unreal Tournament 3, Portal, Portal 2 (arguably), The DIG (the giant spider), and Pokemon Crystal (the redhead... maybe subjective).

That's about all the games I can think of off the top of my head.

Zack & Wiki... eh... without giving too much away, it has a female as the main villain for a while at least...

And yes, I would like to see more females as main villains, makes things more equal and stuff...

Not sure if this counts, but Dead Space 2 has the marker, who takes the form of Nicole.

VTMB has Mei Ling.

No More Heroes has Jeane.

Gears of War has The Locust Queen.

Thats all I can think of right now.

Jeane is the last boss, not the main villian :/ their is no main villain.

Sin, System Shock, Silent Hill 2, Metal Gear Solid 3 (sort of), Resident Evil: Code Veronica, Tomb Raider, Portal.

I'm sure I know others, but that's all I can think of off the top of my head.

For one, I'm surprised it took 28 people to mention MGS 3. Kudos to you for mentioning one of the most iconic female antagonists in gaming (in my opinion, anyways).

I don't really think Peach is that stupid. Her guards are coward and her enemy is a huge and strong persistent turtle beast. What could ANYONE do in a situation like that.

My favorite portrayal of Peach is the ones in Mario RPG and the Paper Mario series, where she is actually pretty resourceful and crafty given the situations she is put in.
