Are you a completionist?

Are you the type of gamer who has to do everything a game has to offer? Such as 100 percenting, getting all the trophies/achievements, et cetera or do you simply beat a game, watch the credits roll, and move on?

With the huge backlog in my gaming library I for the most part just beat a game and move on, but lately I'm trying to be more of a completionist, especially on the games I love the most. Very satisfying but often times frustrating and time consuming at the same time.

For me it depends on the game and how good/possible it is. I like to have the trophies, but if it means buying dlc that I don't want then there's no way. For example, on ModNation Racers there's a trophy where you have to get 250,000 creation points. That's pretty much impossible for me, so I won't bother. I'll try for most the other trophies though.

Other games, like Fallout 3, I'll get back to eventually once I've finished with more current games (Portal 2 at the moment)

If it adds a little more to the game or story, I might go out of my way for it. If it's "Kill 5000 of these guys for S&Gs" then I will probably pass it up.

Most are ment to keep you playing as long as possible, like the 100 Pigeons to kill in GTA that Aquaman mentioned. I'll do the achevements that make the game fun, not that drive me nuts.

If I see a golden skulltula, yeah, maybe I'll kill that little jerk.
But I'm not going to go out of my way to find them.
This is my attitude toward all games.

No, unless 100% completion is about as much as doing the main story and getting say, all 100 weapons or something like that, in which case you would about 80 of them in the story.

People who complete games 100% such as certain rpg's, or even get close, are bonkers.
