I'm a nerd who actually does lots of physical activities and has a sixpack that isn't of soda, while still managing to spen horrendous amounts of time gaming.

Well...I don't have any of the current generation of consoles. I no longer have a gaming PC. I am the DM for a long running 3.5 edition D&D game with my friends. I probably spend more time reading D&D books and such than I do playing any video game. X-box Live and most forms of online gaming suck because they're littered with loons and goobers. The best part about the first Halo game is "warthog jousting" in Blood Gulch with my friends. Guitar Hero destroys Rock Band (mostly). Kalmah is the most consistent metal band to come out of Europe in a long time.

I'm a 360 owner, i play a lot of Gaylo, Fallout, other poop like that.
But instead of meshing in with the typical 360 owner, i.e. ripping on all other consoles i have actually purchased both of them, and play them regularly and both have become part of my loving family.
Also i'm a singer in a band.

I'd say I'm a geek, but I can play four instruments, play in bands occasionally, and have seen several women nekkid in person. Basically I just play games and am not thick, and have worn glasses at one point.

I'm a super geek-of-all-trades, I pretty much love everything geeky except hardware and vampires. In fact I know jack shit about hardware and couldn't tell you a damn thing about computers or wi fi or anything like that.

I am a gamer yes, but I am also a writer and game developer. I am an avid raver, aspiring Burner (look it up), and a big enthusiast of sandlot football. I hate energy drinks and love beer.
Burner as in artist? That's sweet.

On topic: I'm an awkward combo of a gamer and a hippie.

I've seen two or three other girls post in this thread, so I guess that isn't completely unique in itself anymore.

Hmm, I guess I could say that if you just met me, you would never in 1,000 years guess that I was a complete nerd. But then I would open my mouth and the nerd would flow forth.

I also hate any form of beer. I really only like Rum...

Oh, here's one! Just a month ago, I read 20 years of manga in one week, (specifically all of the manga Berserk). And I have just recently come to love the comic book series Watchmen...specifically Rorschach.

I have an Xbox, but have never had XBL.

Oh yeah, and I'm a chick. That automatically earns me plenty of stares.
I bet it does...

I am a nerd that is an avid public speaker, which is apparently pretty rare amongst my other nerd friends.
Shit, you're one of them too?

I thought I was alone! Finally!

On topic:
My headteacher described my character to a family friend, who then relayed it to me. He said something like;

Charismatic
Rambunctious (I know!)
Sparky... apparently I'd be "good for marketing" according to the Job guy.
Active and Open minded.

But when it comes down to it, I'm unique just like everyone else.

It may seem weird but I wasn't in any way considered a geek until I decided that's how I felt. I guess if you've ever seen the movie Clerks or Clerks 2, that'd be how i could sum up me and most of my friends. Geeky but not like in the sense that I wear glasses, play world of warcraft, ect ect. More geeky in a way like, 'having-tastes-that-aren't-exactly-mainstream'. Like having a discussion about...I dunno, the Brak Show. The point is, I guess I'd think I'm pretty unique. I wasn't forced to think I was a geek, I just felt that it described me right. So ultimately, I think you just gotta accept what your like so you can have a bit more fun, like I did.

I've been called a "unique and beautiful snowflake" by Lum the Mad and "the weirdest guy on the internet" by Abalieno, but I'm pretty sure these were tongue-in-cheek observations. :p

I dislike violence. I wear a gas-mask nearly all the time. I refuse to use voice technology.
I am a schooled history enthusiast and a former tech-support employee(For 2 months. I fail at technology.). I also drink a plentiful amount of whiskey and speak, whenever possible, in a voice that resembles something said in a voice that resembles something through a microphone. I also try to be as nice as possible. You'd have to try hard before I'd seriously get angry. I'm also an adventurous traveler. I hate Japan and Japanese culture due to it being more and more common in the western world.

Sounds pretty generic to me. Then again, I see citadels wherever I go.

Well I'm a nerd and a ladies man. I also have a very avid social life even though I devote 40% of my life to games.
