I am. Oh yes, I am easily startled, freighted and I get creeped out by almost anything. You know that dude in Saving Private Ryan? The one who pussied out constantly. Yeah that was the character I projected onto up until the part where he didnt save his friend who was getting stabbed (I wuda done that). Being wimpy isnt anything to be ashamed of, so be honest. I don't know why I am scared so easily, my parents attribute it to me having an over-active visual imagination but idk if I believe that.

For example: today I was in the living room and had lunch sitting in the kitchen and even though I was hungry and I don't believe in ghosts I was afraid some serial killer would jump out and stab me, so I didnt get it.

Anyway, are you easily scared? any example of your scaredness?

I flip out if people walk up behind me. Like, really bad.

The girl I like is worse though lol. She's the kind it's good to watch scary movies with ;)

The only time I'm wimpy is when there is something with 8, or more legs crawling around in my immediate vicinity.

When you catch one of

crawling on, or near you, you have every right to jump up and scream like a little girl. (I didn't scream, but I did start shaking my arm like Superman with an inquisitive bird on his wrist.)

I would tentatively describe myself as an "ex-wimp". Having grown considerably in stature in the last couple of years and thus brushing off any negative attention I might have had thrown at me, which was one of the main causes of me being scared/wimpy, I've stopped being so afraid.

Except of course for horror movies. Ask Furburt, I was bricking myself during Aliens. D:

I`m 19 and I`m still mildly afraid of the dark, so there`s that.

Beyond that though I`m not really afraid of too much.

I admit being afraid is nothing to be ashamed of, it's being a coward that is something to be ashamed of. I could go into the whole bit about how you can't be brave if you are fearless, etc. But I can't stop wondering about that little bit of your text I quoted.

If you are serious I feel for you and you really should go seek some therapy to help you with that.

I'm nothing special, but I pride myself on being able to handle myself in any situation, whether I'm afraid of something, being threatened, or in a tight spot.

In those games of strength that you play with other people (arm wrestling for example) I will lose because the other person cheated (Used their body weight or something) and I'm called a wimp when it was obvious they were struggling to beat me.

That's a house centipede, and you probably feel paranoid because there's one crawling on your ceiling right above you. Don't look up!

What is that thing, Another creature hell rejected, and sent to Australia!?

OT:same thing here. About 2 weeks ago I found

crawling on me. I nearly jumped out of my skin (it was about the size of a nickel.) turns out it was a harmless psuedoscorpion

If any bug is crawling on me I start flailing like I'm in the middle of a seizure. I even have a small phobia of fly's, but strangely you put me in a fistfight I'm calm as calm can be. Maybe it's how I was raised.

I'll be honest about the fact that I cringe at the thought of most horror movies, but while I'm watching I'm not so scared, mostly just build up. Though I can't say the same about horror games, I get way to immersed in games and when I play some they can get me to jump (though I don't think I've shrieked yet).

I'm an 'ex-wimp', I used to freak out when I was a kid, primarily due to being harassed by my older brother and his friends. Now it's hard for me to back down from a lot of things, either that or I completely ignore a situation.

I'm a manly man that downs pints and gets in fights, too idiotic to be afraid of anything.
