I'll probably buy Modern Warfare 3, just because I want to finish off the story (so I'm hoping it's only a trilogy) and I also sorta still wanted to pay my respects to what was once a very very good game before it was ruined.

But after that I've had enough, MW3 is the last £50 Activision will ever be getting from me!

I still won't be boycotting them though, mostly because you can't boycott someone who you're already not buying from.

Nope, Prototype, most fun I've ever had. I intend to buy Prototype 2 as well, but apparently the people working on it was slashed in two due to the budget, so if that game is horrible I'm going to rage and never buy another Activision game. Serious Activision you screw up Prototype and I'll never forgive you.

No, it would be boycotting if a game came out that you're interested in was published by activision but you won't buy it because what they did to infinity ward/tony hawk.

For instance, MW2 is still supposedly AU$88 (our dollar is almost 1:1 to the US dollar)... which is what I call bullshit.

So it's not as much boycotting as refusing to be assraped.

It's actually worth more than the USD at the moment.

And also; IMPORT your games! To throw out a recent example, I saw that Fable 3 was still $53 pre-owned at EB Games, and then found it online for $41 including postage, brand spanking new.

There's no reason for us to pay for the store's tariffs for them when we can import them duty-free outselves.

Yes, I'm boycotting Activision's games. That doesn't mean I can't rent them from time to time, but I'm not buying any single of their games for now.

And no, I don't consider Blizzard as Activision, I may buy Blizzard's games from time to time, but not Activision's.

It's cool .. I'm primarily a PC gamer (I play fighting games, music games, and driving games on console), so I have a lot of options online for buying games.
What's funny is when EB staff tell me they're not getting many PC game sales .. I'm like "duh."

Boycotts are silly, in my opinion. If a good game comes out, reward the quality of the game and support like quality games. If it sucks, dont buy it.

Boycotting just means you hold a long grudge and dont allow for innovation or change.

I'd have to point this out to you. Boycotting is voting with your wallet. If you don't support the way the publisher/developer does business, then you shouldn't buy their games. Yes, the game might be amazing, but if the company has horrible business practices then you're supporting a set of business practices that are harmful to the gaming industry as a whole. On the whole, I tend to boycott EA more than Activision. However, I can hope that Blizzard has a good influence on Activision, which would turn Activision into a powerhouse of amazing games that would be unstoppable... But, hopes are about as potent as unicorn farts, only the future will tell.

I'm not, though I haven't bought an Activision game since Modern Warfare 2.
The way I see it, they don't really care about whether or not they recieve my £50 or not, but I do care about missing out on a popular game, so if I want the game, I'll buy it regardless of the developer/publisher.

No, at least not anymore. This might seem odd since I created that Facebook group that only became known because of a certain Activision Social relations guy. But since then I have begun to see that Activision isn't totally evil, their CEO is just a dick.

Notice france. They riot every few years if something isnt going right. Theyve never boycotted a single thing. Because it doesnt get anywhere. You cant try to negotiate with the corrupt. You have to overthrow them.

If you want to make a differance, form a peaceful rally outside the Activision HQ. Have the masses do the talking. Eventually, because your hampering productivity, they will give in.
