Well, the news that Avatar has made a BILLION dollars worldwide coupled with the fact that so many on the escapist seem able to hate, nay, Loathe, a movie that is my new personal favorite makes me wonder...

Am I easily entertained?

The question is rhetorical, I know for certain that I am easily entertained, many people have said so, I once played with a whirlgig for two hours. But I digress, I am glad I am easy to entertain, It just makes life very enjoyable.

Are YOU easily entertained? what is something dumb or simple that you enjoyed greatly?

Not particularly.
Enjoying simple things doesn't mean you're easily entertained, though, it means you like simple things.

EDIT: Why are we suddenly talking about Avatar?

Enough has been said in every post above.
You're not easily entertained, you're just entertained by simple things.

Recently, I spent about a hour trying to master the art of flipping a beer mat from the edge of a table on top of a pint glass. It seems simple enough, but is actually quite tricky. It kept me entertained nevertheless.

Im easily entertained, but not easily kept entertained. Anything, can interest me for an hour or so, but past that, it actually has to be good.

That being said, I loved Avatar, not for the story, because it was awful, but for its unity. It never suddenly introduced something, and was well made throughout. I hate the hate for it, but I understand if you didn't like it, so long as you don't troll about. I also hate people trolling people who didn't like it. Simply put, I just don't like trolling.

Eh yea pretty much.

Throw any movie in front of me with guts and severed limbs and I'll sit still.

I'm probably more easily entertained than a lot of people, yes. I think I tend to notice merits before flaws, unless I have no interest in the subject or the flaws are too blatant.

I went on a school trip to a small sweet factory, and a lady there was happily wrapping sweets. One of us asked her if she finds the job boring. She said she enjoys the job because the wrappers were different colours.

I think it depends on how tired I am. Actually it just varies depending on how I feel.

With games, yes. I actually had immense fun with some of the most scorned games of our generation.

With movies, no. I rarely watch them.

I was in the military, you have no idea how many times we busted our asses to rush some where only to have to wait several hours. Hurry up and wait was one of the many informal motto's of the military. I would have succumbed to insanity if I was not easily entertained.
