Are You Happy?

I'm happy in certain specific situations. One of them isn't checking out the escapist while trying to kill time. So no, I'm not happy right now.

Yes. I'm pretty damn happy. After a year of doing fuck all, being at uni, having friends and places to be is a fantastic change.

Not that I wasn't happy at home, doing whatever I felt like for a year, but this is better.

I'm happy senior year of high school, very relaxed on the homework (for some reason), got a girlfriend that cares about me, went to 2 weddings this month alone
only minor dents in the happiness but other than those I'm happy

Deep question deserves complex answer: I am bored, not unhappy. My life lacks purpose and challenge, two key ingredients of happiness. When (if?) I break out of my rut, I'm sure my answer will change but until then you have my answer up top.

I'm in the midst of a serious crisis of my sense of self. I can't shake the feeling that I'm living my life entirely the wrong way, that everything I'm doing is a relic of a time when I was trying to be someone else.

I get a funny feeling radical changes are coming, and it doesn't make me happy.

(on the other hand, I have good grades, a great girlfriend, and a kickass new gaming PC on order. So it's not all bad.)

In general I am not happy. Finished University over a year ago and have been trying ever since to get the job that I want. There is nothing like over a years worth of rejections and failures at interviews to make your very depressed.

At a point where i really don't give a crap anymore.
