Incredibly. I've never been a depressed sort of person, but right now is the happiest I believe I've been. Just graduated high school, headed off to a great university. I'll be studying a combination of business and international relations, traveling abroad at least twice, and nicely setting myself up for a career which involves a great deal of travel. I have my whole life ahead of me (not to mention an amazing summer), how could I not be ecstatic?
Mostly, yeah. It could be better, but overall I think that I'm having quite a good life at the moment. I have just finished my GCSEs, I have my prom in 2 days, I have a long holiday ahead of me, and I am very much looking forward to sixth form after that as well.
Of course I still worry about stuff as well, but I try not to think of that as much (I try to be a positive thinker).

That's actually a complicated question to ask, but don't worry this isn't about philosophy.
In general, yeah I'm pretty content, I've got food, people who love me, a roof over my head and a half-decent job that doesn't suck as much as other jobs I've had. However, there's a lot of things I'm not happy about, emotion is a complicated thing, I don't feel one emotion, I feel many for different subjects. Some things piss me off, some things depress me and some things are just plain annoying.
Do I let these things rule my life completely? No, but I'm not going to ignore them because these things are pretty important to me and it would be stupid to deny that there are some things out there in the world that I just don't agree with.

there is a staggering amount of unhappiness on the escapist, i wonder why that is?. As a gamer i would like to think :serious gaming=intelligence=less likely to be happy. But i dont think that is in fact the case.
OT. yes i am happy, i dont think i have ever been not happy. I dont see any reason i would ever be not happy. My mind doesnt work that way, i never see why people choose to be unhappy. If you are living in a first world country there is usually an opportunity for you to make yourself happy. Dont brood about things that are going wrong that just makes you enjoy life less. You only live once, dont be afraid to make mistakes and take risks that could potentially fuck you now and again.

I like my job. I have a nice home with everything I want in it. Great friends, an awesome dog, great parents. And a girl that I like that likes me back. I love my life
For the most part yes I am. I have a job I love, even though it takes a lot of my time, and I have a great son that is my whole world. Life isn't too bad right now.

I have horrible retail job where customers treat us like crap and the hours are terrible and I get payed close to nothing. I have no skills or qualifications so I cant get a better job. All of my best friends have all moved away to go to uni and made their own friends and dont bother with me anymore.
The only person I have left is my boyfriend who makes me feel like total shit. Hes the reason I lost contact with the friends I did still have left because he gets jealous when other people talk to me. I cant break up with him though because I live with him and I have no where else to go, as Im too poor to afford my own place. And I cant move in with my dad, I cant even be bothered to get in to why.
Everything that I dreamed my life would be like when I was in school didnt turn out the way I thought it would be at all. I used to be so much happier when I was younger, and now Im older everything pretty much just gone to shit. I want to move and go somewhere exciting and new and start my life again, but Im too poor and wouldnt be able to get a visa anyways
I dont have any talents and Im terrible at everything, theres nothing I want to do in life because I know Ill just fail at it like Ive failed at everything else. I feel like Im just wasting time away until I get old and die.
I guess thats why I play video games so much, they're just something nice to keep my mind occupied. So I guess its not all bad, at least I have that

I'm not really happy with how my life is right now. My fiancé lives in the UK and I in the US. I hate it here in the US and I have to wait till he's 21 so we can get married and I move to the UK to be with him. He just turned 19, so that'll be another 2 years I have to wait. We've been together for 2 and a half years. <3
Also, my Uncle stole my Metal Gear Solid Collectors Figurine that I bought for Tom (Fiancé) and sold it for drug money. That's the life I live here in the states. I constantly have to worry about my family members stealing my belongings. Pathetic.

All my female friends are heavy, mentally troubled smokers, so they're just pissed and annoyed 90% of the time because they didn't have a cigarette in the last 0.50 seconds.
I also have an idiot of a dad who tries to make contact with me even when I'm ignoring him for months and once hung up in his face when he called from a number I didn't know.
Sometimes I feel like the people who do not care are actually the ones who care the most, and are just so bloody afraid of showing it.
