That's the charm of it! People at conventions are usually more open for random social contact since they are comfortable with the knowledge that most of the people there share a common interest. so if you see someone buying or reading your favourit comic you can start discussing it or make further recomendations, or if you partake in the same tournaments (I've had the pleasure to meet plenty of nice people this way) you might wanna discuss the game you are about to play or if there are any well known players that you know alot about or like.Cowabungaa said:Well dang, Wikipedia said there were no big conventions in Holland. The Breda Stripbeurs and TerraCon look like they're fun to check out, shame there are no gaming conventions but eh. Shame the 2011 editions have already past, I hope they're annual or something. That and I still need a wingman.
But I wonder, how on earth do you really meet girls during a convention like that? I mean sure, during the MCM there were plenty about, but honestly, I wouldn't know how to really make contact with them in such an environment.
Btw I just feel so happy when I read about all of these happy new relationships, make sure to really enjoy this "newly in love" feeling, because while you may or may not feel that tingnling, exciting feeling towards that person for very long, it is never as intense as the first few months when you discover things and see sides of your partner you never had the opportunity to see before.
Congratz to you all!
