Are your parents trekies?

With all this talk of star trek I keep seeing I am reminded of my fathers hopeless obsession with the series. I remember when my parents got their divorce and when I was at my dads he had this idea that we should spend the summer watching all of the original star trek episodes and the movies. So I ended up getting a crash course in all things star trek which turned out to be a very strange bonding experiance.

So my question to you is are your parents trekies? And if so did they ever sit you down and make you watch all of the originals. Or really any of the series?

I really dont know what is up with all this star trek stuff kinda late to the party but whatever. My dad never really made me choose between wars or trek he just always talked about how when he was a kid it was his favorite thing in the world how he would always look to it for inspiration. Not that he ever got into the whole convention thing just a childhood memory for him really.

Nah, my parents are more into Stargate, they were never Trekkies really. Also, they like Charmed, something I've never quite forgiven them for.

I have no idea where I get it from, I never watched TOS, but I watched Next Generation, love DS9, and thought Voyager was OK. Enterprise makes me twitch.
