My Dad used to live in Frederick Maryland where there was a prank among the local high-school students. There, they would go into the local Orange Julius and ask for a large pepperoni pizza. Apparently the prank was so common that, that particular mall had a security code specifically for kids pulling that prank (I was almost kicked out of the mall for doing it myself)

Just a minute ago, I was surfing Youtube when I notice a lot of videos featuring 'The Battletoad Prank' in which the prankster would enter or, call a Gamestop asking for a copy of Battletoads on a modern system. One of the callers was even threatened by a gamestop employee, she said something about calling the police and the kid nearly wet himself on cam.

Anyway, I live in GA now where Orange Julius is unheard of. Apparently the Battletoad prank is cone in Washington State which is probably why I've never heard of it (what with me never travelling farther west than maybe West Virginia). So, what other pranks am I missing out on by never having ventured out into the world?

I thought your title said "area-specific spanks" at first...

I'm not sure about any area specific pranks seeing that I don't move around much. I'm from Washington state however and I never heard of the battle toads prank.

There's a bridge near where I live called "Bunnyman Bridge". It's got some urban legend about an escaped serial killer who lurks underneath it, especially on Halloween, yadda yadda.

Long story short, get a group of your friends to dress up in a Donnie Darko-esque bunny costume and scare the shit out of anyone that tries walk under it.

A Halloween tradition for years to come, though really any night works.

I'd wouldn't call that a prank, but they got something like that at the mall where I live. There's a tea store called Teaopia and sometimes kids will go in there and ask for coffee (which they don't sell). It's hardly clever.
