Okay, I need some help, or advice, or anything from people who know something about this issue. It's my girlfriend. She's a good girl and everything, but a while back I was woken up by THE most God aweful thing I can possibly hear.

SHE WAS GRINDING HER TEETH! D:

I can't begin to explain how much even thinking about it makes the noise run through me, but she apparently does it all the time and i'm noticing it at night more and more often.

Does ANYONE know anything about how to help her stop grinding her teeth in her sleep? It makes me cringe and my teeth have gone funny thinking about it. Can anyone help? D:

Thanks in advance!

You can go to a doctor or dentist and they can make her a special mouthguard that she'll have to wear until she stops. That, or she could be a bit stressed out; get her to relax before she goes to sleep.

Stick some icepop sticks in between her teeth and pretend like she did it in her sleep the next morning.

Or, you know, talk to her about it. I am pretty sure there are like mouthguards you can get to help stop that sort of thing.
Just hope you don't snore. Because then you're going to sound like such a prick.

I haven't read anything about Schizophrenia. It's most likely to be stress. Or you can take the easy way out and buy her a gumshield from a sports store.

Make her wash your car nude. When she asks why, tell her "because I asked the internet how to make you stop grinding your teeth when you sleep and this was their answer."

Seems like the perfect solution ;)

I had a tooth grinding problem, then I lost one from doing it too much.
It was a baby tooth, I had this problem when I was younger but still.

Tell her that if she keeps up the grinding she could lose one of her molars.

When If that doesn't work, then we can suggest more 'treatments'. Not wearing clothes is an effective treatment, I hear.
