It's a perfectly fair answer, though... I think when you have a 90+ score on Metacritic, and are topping sales charts worldwide? It's a pretty fair assumption that people might like your game.
All the good Metacritic ratings in the world don't guarantee you enough interest to mean a sequel. It's called Psychonauts Syndrome: they're likely waiting for sales data before they announce anything.

Free DLC for Arkham Asylum in about 2 weeks, is what I was told by my buddy from his boss at GameStop when he went to some recent conference.

I hope that they make a sequel, but I REAAALy hope it's not back at Arkham. While I loved it, and it's definately one of my favorite games, I have to say that Arkham itself is pretty much a character of the Batman franchise. However, Gotham city is a huge place and they could pretty easily sanction off a part of it to serve as a map.

I'd like to see some of the villains not featured in this one, such as Two-Face, Penguin, Firefly, ect. Heck, it'd be cool to see the Riddler escape Arkham and take the Joker's role as the main villain.

I'd love to see what they could do if they were given several buildings, the Batcave, and a few streets of Gotham. That "crime alley" level is awsome enough as it is. I'd like to see what they could do with more levels like that.

I want to see Arkham 2 as a sandbox game that works on the same idea as Spiderman 2. A good, superhero sandbox game where you cut about saving folk getting mugged and that and kicking folks' holes for them. Don't anybody give me this DC online crap, I want a good sandbox game with pretty much the only worthwhile DC hero to make a game specifically for. The Batman.

I really enjoyed this game, and it was as close to my ideal Batman game as I've ever seen. It wasn't perfect though.

When they do the sequel (not if, the game is supposedly doing great and most reviewers are tripping over their own infant children to shower it with praise). I'd like to see them tackle a larger area. We've done Arkham Asylum, move the next game elsewhere. The character bios in the game really reminded me how many great villains Batman has (and some stinkers too, yes Calendar Man I'm looking at you)I'd love to see more of them, let Joker, Harley, Scarecrow, Bane, and Poison Ivy take a rest for now. I'd also like to see them take a different stab at the upgrade system. A lot of those upgrades were just pointless.
