ARMA style sci fi shooter

So I've been seeing footage from ARMA 3. Looks great, love how in depth it is.
However, I'm not a huge fan of the realistic military look. Are there any shooters like the ARMA series but Sci Fi? Like a game that has the aesthetic appeal of Halo or Planetside or Tribes, but with deep complex simulation-like gameplay like in ARMA.

There were plenty of sci-fi mods for ARMA 2 so no doubt the same will go for 3, but still these games aren't slightly more complex Halo versions, this is full on 100 button or more sim play where without memorizing their wiki you will be sitting there baffled why nothing ever works.

I know what you mean and would love to play that kind of game but there is no game like that. Closest you'll get as already mentioned is ARMA mods and such.
