I was just wondering if any of you have ever repeatedly posted on a forum to make it stay on the first page of its specific forum, so that more people will visit and post on it?

Occaisionally if i think the thread is worthy of continued discussion ,but mostly no

Yeah if someone posts just ans says "jumped" or some other term I forget, they do that so the thread can come back onto the first page, usually done by the OP.

Only if you want to attract more attention it to, some people do it when trying to get people to join in. But most people don't bump a thread less it's really important.

Now I feel bad because I prejudged the title of the thread, but other then that I've tried to do it discreetly by keeping it slightly related but still a post that isn't necessary to be done.
