Ok, not me, but a family relation who happens to be coming to the UK tomorrow and also happens to be the chief of lunar surface activities at NASA. This basically means anything that moves that is sent to the Moon or asteroids comes under his direction.

So...this is basically an open mic for anyone who has any questions related to the current lunar programe and related engineering topics.

A-haha, lunar surface. That's just the back side of the sun you morons!

However, I'd be very interested in buying a cheap autonomous robot for space reconnaissance if he happens to want to get rid of the old ones.
Or you could ask him about his feelings towards the budget cuts I suppose. But that's booooring.

If a shark and a bear had a fight, who would win?
any questions related to the current lunar programe and related engineering topics
Please keep to these simple guide lines
Fine, if a shark with a keen interest in the current lunar program, and a bear with a background of engineering had a fight, who would win?

Is the bear in the water or is the shark on the land?

They are in space obviously, I mean we are talking about NASA here... And they both have space suits on catering to their individual needs

Then why are they fighting (space is too fun to fight in it!)? And how exactly will the killing blow be delivered?

When do we get to blow up the moon?

Serious question: Does he know what exactly is happening to Constellation? I know Obama is trying to axe it but that depends on congress but if everything was to stay the way it was, what's the eta that we get back on the moon?

They fight because the shark killed the bears family, after a treacherous leopard told him the bear was responsible for the death of the sharks family, when in fact it was really a back of ill-tempered sea bass. And as for the "how", I don't know, I'm not a scientist, thats why I asked the question, obviously.

Is there ever a possibility that the US Government would privatize NASA in an attempt to reduce budget expenses? Do you know if it would be a good idea?

What are some estimates for [a] the soonest self-sustainable Lunar Base?

How come no one wants to make a modernized Saturn V for heavy lifting?
