So, on one of my random thought trains I was wondering about what we really want in life. I mean our greatest goal. It can be as cliched (True Love) or as strange (eat 50 doughnuts in 20 seconds) as you want. Personally, I don't know. I am emotionally jaded and have long since lost all faith in the future of the human race.

Get rich and spend my life doing whatever I want. I don't care about love and don't get excited about accomplishing things so I might as well just have fun.

And don't lose faith in the human race, there's always going to be idiots etc. but it's when you acknowledge them that they've really gotten to you.

I aspire to be a writer, spread the love and visit Japan.
Of course, none of that will happen, but it will be fun to try. :)

On the same note as the above with the writing stuff...
I always dreamed of rule the world too, with a tyrant grip on the land, making people suffer for their stupidity......

I would like to find a wife who loves me no matter what. Have two children with her (A boy and a girl). And to be able to support them throughout anything.

True friendship has always appealed to me more than love. I guess that's a side effect of watching the awesomeness that is Boston Legal. Otherwise I don't aspire to a whole lot.

I have no aspirations sadly... I seem to live merely for the sake of living, because not existing at all is by now ingrained as frightening a thought and thus existing for nothing is faintly better.

I would like to aspire to making the people of the world act more rationally but I'm not magic, so I guess that's out the window...

My to-do list:

I'd like to bring about the downfall of organized religion.
Raise a generation of children who replace science with magic.
Cure cancer - recreate it and use it against my enemies.
Have a sip of Faygo.

I have no goal in life. I rarely plan beyond a few hours into the future. Unless its something important like getting drunk.

my plan so far:
1) Go to college
2)Join Marines
3)Leave Marines and work for either a PMC or FBI- Preferably PMC cause they pay far more.
4)Kill stuff
5)find a wife
6)settle down, killing things every now and again

hmm:
1.1 cure apathy
1.2 develop a motivation enhancer
2. finish something - anything!

On a more serious note (although I am deadly serious about 1.1/1.2) I'd like to get my music produced, I'd like to travel across australasia and I'd like to own cats again.

I had two goals in life.

1) Find true love

2) Be financially secure enough that I never have to work again

I've already accomplished the first though it was tough work in the beginning. Now I'm working on the second.

I have the grilled cheese aspiration [/Sims 2 inside joke]...

I want to travel the world for a while, then come back to Canada (probably), get a decent job and settle down, preferably with a wife. Not to sure about kids though, whiny little runts.

Somewhere along the line I'd like to leave my mark too. Maybe on national television.

Sitting at the helm of my yacht, hand on the tiller, sails unfurled, on a sunny day out on the pacific ocean. I'm wearing a captain's hat, board shorts and have my Hawaiian shirt unbuttoned. My gin and tonic is resting on an electric cooling pad, next to the chair. The native pearl diver, who speaks no English, is resting her head on my lap. All of this to "Mr E's Beautiful blues" by Eels.

Be a cop and help people. Sounds pretty sad written down but its achievable and it will help people.

That or Indiana Jones.
