Assassins and Templars

The subject of this thread is basically, what real life personalities do you think would be either an Assassin or a Templar in the Assassin's Creed universe (or whatever the word for that is)?
When it comes to the Assassins I cast my vote for

Leonard Nemoy.

Seriously that is just too easy. As for Templars I would go with

If the gaming community are the assassins then the templar would be Michael Atkinson.
