I don't. It looks like they're continuing Ezio's story. Nothing wrong with that, it's just a spin-off game.Old Trailmix said:Anyone else feel as if this Brotherhood game is just a pump out? I mean AC2 was only last year.

Here's hoping the last one is in Yonaguni (if I recall right).imaloony said:I don't. It looks like they're continuing Ezio's story. Nothing wrong with that, it's just a spin-off game.Old Trailmix said:Anyone else feel as if this Brotherhood game is just a pump out? I mean AC2 was only last year.

Anyways, they're going to make AC3, don't worry about it. In fact, there are some rumors that this assassin will be in Egypt. In fact, I've got a picture here:

Unless I'm mistaken, that's a cover for an upcoming graphic novel/comic based around Assassins Creed. It would be cool to play as the Egyptian assassin (though I though, from what I saw in the Assassin vault, the Egyptian assassin was a woman) though doing so for the AC3 probably wouldn't happen, as it's unlikely they will take us back in time for the sequel.imaloony said:I don't. Ubisoft has already said that you'll play as Desmond.imaloony said:I don't. It looks like they're continuing Ezio's story. Nothing wrong with that, it's just a spin-off game.Old Trailmix said:Anyone else feel as if this Brotherhood game is just a pump out? I mean AC2 was only last year.

And maybe not even the year after that. Well, the associative producer thinks it needs a break, but I'm sure Ubi thinks otherwise. And I agree that we need a break, or it will just get too boring and bland. They need time to come up with some new/better gameplay elements. I mean the whole flying thing was new and used in the trailers for the AC2, but it only happened once...in the whole game. So lets hope nothing like that happens this time around.Mexicoho19 said:They will release AC3, just not next year.

Someone from Ubi announced that that concept art is related to a non-game project.imaloony said:I don't. It looks like they're continuing Ezio's story. Oh, you mean like they did massively in AC2?Cazza said:I'm begining to forget thats theres an outside plot. They better extend the plot soon.
Little necromancy here cause I don't want to go and start another thread to spout my fanboyism. Anywho, these are exactly my thoughts. When you consider that Desmond will probably be charged with searching for the Pieces of Eden before the Templars find them, that puts a whole nother twist on it. I'm thinking it might be like Splinter Cell, but more Thief-esque.The Free Wind said:Honestly, I have absolutely NO IDEA where they will take AC3 gameplay-wise. Will firearms be a major part of the combat? (So far, only batons and an old Assassin's Blade has been used in the Desmond Segments, although it was confirmed that guns were used by Abstergo in AC1 through an intercom message revealing signs of a firefight.) If so, will it be in any way be connected to the combat systems of the first two (three counting Brotherhood) games? And if not firearms, then what? More batons? (Would make sense, since in real life, silencers have LITTLE TO NO SIGNIFICANT EFFECT WHATSOEVER.)
As for this... have you fucking seen the new features? Streamlined combat (no more constantly waiting for the counter kill!), duel ranged weapons, horseback riding? No friend, I don't think they are milking us for money - they are giving us great new toys and taking our money in exchange. I can't wait, honestly. I do understand about them wasting their time on a side-plot, but c'mon... cut them some slack. They can take this opportunity to learn the dos and don'ts of stealth multiplayer.Fidelias said:I hate what they're doing with Assassins Creed Brotherhood. It's just a way to suck up people's money while they're still hyped up about Assassins Creed 2. Don't get me wrong, I loved Assassins Creed 1 and 2,(though, 2's ending wierded me out a little bit. I don't know where their going with it) but I don't like it when companies decide to put a project on hold so that they can soak up some of their fans' cash. If they need some time to make AC3, so be it. But I would rather them devote their full attention to it so that they can make it better, not waste their time on a side plot.
