It looks great, but I am personally a bit irked that they said Brotherhood was Ezios' last game, and it didn't really add anything to the story, and rather than innovate and change the series to a different time period were getting two of the same characters...

Nevertheless, I am stoked for it, I love the AC games and can't wait to play it.

i thought that we would surely get desmond by now!
btw, the situation in the trailer would never actually happen, seriously counter attacking owns everyone. also do you think that you'll be able to call assasin's to your side again?
the thing that buged me in brotherhood was that there wasnt enough enemies to have an all out epic battle -_-
CANT W8. THIS AND HALO 4
EDIT: oh wait in the gameplay demo there was an assasin helping you so yeah :)
Speak for yourself. I ran around town for like twenty minutes, gathering guards, then I called my Assassins. Five Assassins (Myself included) verses about thirty guards. It was epic. Some of my Assassins almost died, and they were maxed out...

OT: Well, he's much older now. Ezio the ooooooold man.

Cinematic trailers aside, I have spent the last hour watching new Revelations cutscenes, and comparing them with Brotherhood cutscenes (as well as moving the camera to check out Altair in the first AC), and I definitely agree--our boys have changed. It's not age, by the way. I might be able to accept Ezio's changes if they didn't also change Altair and Desmond. Just watch all the videos. The nose is more flat, the lips are bigger, eyes are smaller and closer together, and the jaw is less sharp. Let's face it, they aren't using the same base for our boys anymore. I'm not sure what happened, but honestly, I'm incredibly angry about it. I'm having a hard time even watching clips because he looks NOTHING like he did before. If I could get my hands on any other character clips, I bet you the rest don't look the same. Al Mualim I can't really tell because I never paid too much attention to his appearance in AC1.

The cinematic trailers did all right, actually. I sat back and compared those as well, and from what you can see of his face in the previous games, it's still pretty consistent. He looks about right, just aged.

Actual gameplay however.... pissing me off.

Just in case you haven't seen it yet:

OT: It's NOT just me who thought he looked NOTHING like Ezio Auditore? Thank god. Also, yeah what's up with that? Also, do you guys think that that's Masyaf?
No, definitely not Masyaf. Masyaf is in the mountains of Syria (or at least this fictional version, in real life Masyaf is nothing like what it is in the game although it is still in Syria. The real assassin fortress was actually in Alamut which is in Iran), this is likely somewhere in Jordan.

OT: Very excited for this game, as usual it looks great. This series has yet to disappoint me so it's at the top of my list.
You're knowledge amazes me

The attacks look recycled... again. The story just seemed really dumb to me after the angels or super-race people showed. However, since brotherhood had such a good multiplayer then I will buy this game if it has good multiplayer.
I completely agree. That whole ending in AC2 pissed me off. I was looking forward to this whole government world-wide takeover, not some stupid alien/god/fate looming doomsday.
