Hey everyone, Trivun here. This thread is pretty much a call to arms for you all. Or something. Basically, I've written a short screenplay, about 15 pages long, and I want to film it and enter it to film festivals and such and use it as part of my portfolio. However, the script is only in its first draft. Thus, I need proofreaders to take a look and help me edit it where necessary and provide constructive feedback.

This brings me to you. I've not had much luck securing other proofreaders from friends and family, and professional proofreaders charge silly prices for the courtesy of reading a script, so I'm asking you guys to help me, out of the goodness of your heart. Also, anyone who helps and provides decent feedback will be added to the film credits (real name or username is the person's choice), and I'll send a free copy of the film via email to anyone who helps out :).

Anyone who wants to help, just let me know either in the thread or by PM, and provide an email address for me to send the PDF file to. I'll send the file ASAP and hope to hear your comments soon :)

Oh, and if anyone from here is based in the north of England and wants to get involved then feel free to ask, but that's for a later time anyway...

Hello! This is a self-admitted bump, given this has been up over a week now with zero new posts, but also to add a little more context if anyone has questions about the script. The length is something I can't change by much, since the film festivals I plan to enter the film to have limits on their length. I understand that a lot of information and details about the characters also aren't given in the script, as well as the gap between the introduction and the bulk of the film - that was deliberate, as the characters are meant to be blank canvases for the viewer to insert themselves into the film. The entire film is meant to send a message, and is also semi-autobiographical (not in events, but certainly in the theme and the few aspects of personality I do concede to the characters).

If it helps, I can always send interested parties copies of the character notes from the original project file on Celtx as well, to give more background in how the characters are meant to be portrayed. Just let me know :)
