There is no bigger name in the world of Anime/Manga than Astro Boy, there just isn't.
So, if you haven't figured it out yet, Astro Boy is FINALLY getting a cinematic release in the form of a brand new CG movie with Freddie Highmore (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) voicing the main character, Astro, and Nick Cage (The Rock) is voicing the scientist, Tenma, Astro's father/creator...
From what i've seen (trailer and pics), I have to say that i'm impressed on the idea of this movie, but i'm not completely sold. It's obvious that they are going to make Astro Boy into a family friendly movie for everyone, but i'm more concerned if it will be true to the astro boy people grew up with.
Are you guys excited for this movie or are you already digging it's grave?
