I don't even believe in the belief in astrology. I don't think people have "faith" in it. It is bullshit on all levels (sorting mentalities according to birth calendars, seeing the universe as 2D, expecting causalities from stars, mapping them arbitrarily, etc) and it "functions" because its psychological descriptives are vague enough, universal enough and interpretable enough for everyone to recognize anyone in every each one ("i'm pisces" "I KNEW IT" "no wait actually i'm virgo" "I KNEW IT EVEN MORE !"), but also "health : you're totally invulnerable today" doesn't stop any one from looking left and right before crossing the road.

I look at astrology the same way I do at religion, if with slightly less respect. If what you believe makes you feel good, feel like a better person, and doesn't negatively affect or impact others, fine; let the stars guide you or the Bible be the only truth that matters. But the moment you start making judgements and decisions based on those beliefs that affect and impact your interactions with others, i.e.: call off a relationship because a person is of a "conflicting sign," or blow up a city block in the name of Allah, you're certifiably insane, and a discredit to any good to be found in your beliefs.

I kind of believe in it, but I would personally never make any important decisions based on it. To me, it's all in good fun. But to each their own!
