I really enjoyed the demo. I found the crazy over-the-top style both awesome and incredibily funny, and I think these the best use of QTE since Heavy Rain.

The music in the second part was fuckin' awesome.

Coupled together with the overload of manly action, cheesy dialogue reminiscent of DBZ.........makes me kinda want six arms.

So, yeah, I liked it. I mean it could have been a helluva lot worse.

I was vaguely interested in the game since it kind of looked like old-school Devil May Cry. Then I played the demo, thought it was shit and deleted it.
I'll never think about this game again.

I've been interested in this game since seeing the first screens.

After trying out the demo? Definite day one purchase for me. It just.....the sheer balls to the wall ridiculousness of it all is amazing. That part where Augus STABS THROUGH THE EARTH I was literally on the edge of my seat going "Wait...that sword isn't gonna go.....HOLY FUCK IT IS!!"

I was genuinely pissed off when that "to be continued" screen came up.
You know, I was going to try summing up my feelings about what I just played, but... I honestly don't see how I could do it better than this. It's all right there:
- interested since first screens
- day one purchase
- HOLY BALLS THAT DUDE JUST STABBED CLEAN THROUGH THE PLANET!!!1!1

The hilariously cheesy dialogue, the orchestral soundtrack, the ridiculously awesome action... this is the kind of game that makes you laugh and cheer from start to finish, and I am sooooo looking forward to it. :D

I don't think you can really blame them for that bit though, not knowing the controls does lead to a few mistakes like that for me when I start certain games at least.
True, I wasn't completely on top of the controls, and I had several shots of tequila in my system, but since when do console games have consoles!

On reflection QTEs are not the devil, but I still think that they don't make a solid foundation for a game. I loved, LOVED, DBZ Budokai 3 and its use of QTEs, charging a final flash and kicking people through mountains all flowed very well and gave the game an over the top anime feel, I just didn't get that from Asura's Wrath. I intend to sit down and give the demo one more shot but the game has already made a poor first impression.
